Please Read!
Within the "Read Me" page are tips and hints on how to add new pages to this template. This Template does not use a Theme.  The link colors, text colors, background, scroll bars and table borders are controlled by an external style sheet. If you want to change any of the colors, you can change them very easily by just opening the hog.css in Notepad and altering the colors there. Save the file and you will see your new colors when testing in your browser.

VERY IMPORTANT! The tables in this template have been very carefully set up so that everything will work properly. If you accidentally move one of the table borders by dragging, the pages may not appear properly. Immediately hit "Control + Z" on your keyboard or Edit>UNDO from the File Menu to reset the table sizes to the original configuration. Please do not change any of the table or cell properties unless you have a complete understanding of both FrontPage and tables.

If you need to add extra pages to your web, use the New Page. htm provided within the web template. Make a copy of the page (just copy and paste within the folders view), save the copy and give it a name. Then drag the page into the navigation view. Front Page will then add the proper names to the buttons and page banner.

Adding Page To The Left Navigation Structure!

Since this template does not use a Theme, the navigation structure has to be changed manually.

While in "Normal" view, highlight the page in the left-hand navigation list by Right-Clicking the name. Re-type with your new page name. Then highlight the new name again, Right-Click and choose "Hyperlink Properties". In the "Hyperlink Properties" dialog box, scroll to the page that you want to link to. Then hit the "Style" button. In the "Style" dialog box, type the word dog into the Class dialog box. This will tell FrontPage to link your new page to the correct style in the CSS text file that is in your Files list. The reference name for this particular CSS property is called "dog". Why? Just easy to remember...

To change the name of an existing page, just go to Navigation View and Right-Click, then choose Rename. Re-Type the new name in and your page will have it's new name. An alternate method is to right click on the page's HTM name in the file list and choose Properties. Change the page name in the Properties dialog box. This is the name of the page that shows in your browser window.

In your Files list is also a folder named "PSD". In it you will find the original PSD "text" graphic that you can modify in Photoshop as well as a blank graphic if you are using an incompatible image editor. Please be aware that if using another image editor, the special Effects that may be a part of the graphic will be lost. The font used in the graphics is also included in the Photoshop folder. This font needs to be copied either to Windows Fonts folder or the Adobe Fonts folder.

If you would like us to add the text for you, just send your request by e-mail. We will add your name and send the graphic to you to place in your new web. This is a free Theme Store service.
