Please Read!
Within the "
Read Me" page are tips and hints on how to create a web and then publish. This Template does not use a Theme.  The link colors, text colors, background, scroll bars and table borders are controlled by an external style sheet. If you want to change any of the colors, you can change them very easily by just opening the personal.css in Notepad and altering the colors there. Save the file and you will see your new colors when testing in your browser.

This template uses an "Inline Frame" to display the pages of the web site in a scrolling box on the Index page. The frame can only be viewed in the latest browser versions. Older browsers will only display a text dialog that tells the visitor that their browser does not support Inline Frames. You can place links to IE, Netscape, Opera and other browsers on the Welcome. htm page so that your visitors can upgrade if they choose.

Adding A NEW Page To The Left Navigation Structure AND TO THE WEB

Since this template does not use a Theme, the navigation structure has to be changed manually.

First, copy one of the existing pages and give it a new name of your choice. Do not copy the INDEX page, just one of the others. This is a very easy method. Hit File/Save As and give your new page a unique name. Make sure you change the "Title" as well.  Delete the existing text and add your new text. Save the page.

Go to your Index page and:

While in "Normal" view, highlight the last entry in your navigation list, . Shift-click at the end of your last entry and type in your new page name in All-Caps. Then highlight the new name again, Right-Click and choose "Hyperlink Properties". In the "Hyperlink Properties" dialog box, scroll to the page that you want to link to. Double-click it and it will show in the "address box". Then hit the "Style" button. In the "Style" dialog box, type the word dog into the Class dialog box. This will tell FrontPage to link your new page to the correct style in the CSS text file that is in your Files list. The reference name for this particular CSS property is called "dog". Why? Just easy to remember...

Then hit the "Target Frame" button and choose "Inside_Frame".

In your Files list is also a folder named "PSD". In it you will find the original PSD "text" graphic that you can modify in Photoshop as well as a blank graphic if you are using an incompatible image editor. Please be aware that if using another image editor, the special Effects that may be a part of the graphic will be lost. The font used in the graphics is also included in the Photoshop folder. This font needs to be copied either to Windows Fonts folder or the Adobe Fonts folder.

If you would like us to add the text for you, just send your request by e-mail. We will add your name and send the graphic to you to place in your new web. This is a free Theme Store service.

Extra Button graphics are in the " Useful Buttons" folder. An example of the buttons included with the template can be seen on the About Us page. These can be placed anywhere you wish in your web to provide visitors with extra navigation. They are also useful for e-commerce.
